Welcome to the 2026 WA Open International - PSA Challenger  - AJST Silver!

Last year's event attracted more than 200 entries.  Professional squash players from 17 countries competed in the PSA event including China, Hong Kong, Scotland, Japan, England, Malaysia, New Zealand, Czech Republic, Netherlands, South Korea, Norway, Botswana, Pakistan, and India.

The competition is once again going to be FIERCE with players from around the world descending on our beautiful shores.

DIVISIONS

There are divisions for men, women, 35+, juniors and novice juniors.  The junior divisions (except the novice junior) are silver-rated AJST events so national ranking points will be up for grabs kids!

An under 12 novice event will run alongside the event.  Players in this division must be under 12 years of age as at 8 June 2026.  No novice matches will take place on Friday evening.

VENUES

PSA matches will all be played at the Squashworld Mirrabooka (round 1 Wednesday, round 2 Thursday, round 3 quarter-finals Friday, round 4 semi-finals Saturday, round 5 finals Sunday).  Dependant on the number of entries, graded divisions must be able to play Friday, Saturday & Sunday

ENTRY FEES

  • Early Bird: $15 novice juniors / $25 juniors / $35 adults, available until 9pm, Friday 17 April
  • Regular: $20 novice juniors / $32 juniors / $45 adults, available from 10pm, 17 April

MATCH TIMES

(Players must be available for the following times):

  • Friday 5/6 from 6pm
  • Saturday 6/6 from 9am to 4pm
  • Sunday 7/6 from 9am to 4pm
  • PSA matches will commence on Wednesday 3 June so those players must be available from 5pm on that day.  

These times are a guide only and are fully dependent on how many entries are received.  

A canteen will be available for players and guests to purchase refreshments.
